“Basics shouldn’t break the bank.”
Chris believes no one should have to choose between groceries, gas, or medicine. Chris will work to bring good jobs to Kansas, lower health care costs, and create better-paying jobs so families can get ahead — not just get by.
The Issues
-
Kansans work hard, but Washington isn’t working for them.
Prices keep going up — at the store, the gas pump, and the doctor’s office. Families are paying more but not earning more.
Too many families are struggling to keep up as prices rise and paychecks stay the same. Chris Carmichael believes no one should have to choose between groceries, gas, or medicine.
He’ll work to lower costs, bring good jobs to Kansas, and make sure families can afford the things they need — food, gas, and medicine. – Basics shouldn’t break the bank. -
No one should have to skip the doctor because it costs too much.
Chris will work to lower drug prices, keep local hospitals open, and make sure every Kansan can get care when they need it. – Basics shouldn’t break the bank. -
You worked hard and paid into Social Security — you deserve it. Chris Carmichael will fight to protect your benefits, so your retirement is secure and your hard-earned money stays in your pocket.
-
After more than 30 years in uniform, Chris knows the sacrifices those in uniform make for their country — and in return, their country owes them a debt of care and respect. He’ll work to ensure veterans can count on the benefits they’ve earned — health care, education, and retirement — and have reliable access to the services they need when challenges arise from that service. He’ll protect the benefits Kansas veterans count on and work to improve access to VA services across our state so no veteran is left behind.
-
Chris Carmichael has spent his life defending freedom — first in uniform, now at home in Kansas. He believes our constitutional rights must be protected from being chipped away by politics and partisanship. In Congress, Chris will stand up for the rule of law, protect free speech, and ensure the government works for the people — not the other way around.
-
It’s getting harder for family farms to stay in business. High prices for equipment and supplies make it easier for big corporate farms to thrive while smaller farms struggle. Crop prices haven’t kept up with the cost of living for decades.
Chris Carmichael will fight for family farmers — not big corporations — by working to level the playing field and give local farms a fair chance to succeed.

About Chris Carmichael
Chris Carmichael is a proud veteran who served for more than 31 years in the U.S. Army and Air Force, including over two years in Afghanistan. He retired as a Colonel and earned the Bronze Star for his leadership and service.
A Midwest kid, Chris was born and raised in Ohio. But when it came time to choose a place to call home, Chris chose Kansas. He and his wife are proud parents of three grown children who keep him grounded and focused on what matters most — family and community.
Chris is running for Congress to serve Kansans the same way he served his country — with integrity, fairness, and respect for everyone.
As the father of a police officer, Chris knows that safe communities start with trust. Good officers need to be supported and encouraged while making sure that no one is above the law, including those enforcing it.
Guided by empathy and common sense, Chris is ready to listen, lead, and support the needs of all Kansans — no matter their background or political beliefs.
Here is how to support
“Changing the system requires support. Any help is greatly appreciated. With your contribution we can fight the corruption that has taken root in our Congress. This country belongs to you, help me represent you.”
